Mother Tuckers Yellow Duck – Home Grown Stuff (Canada-Capitol ST 6304, 1969)
Rare Canadian-only folk-rock/psych LP on the green Capitol label.
This is the first LP by one of Canada's most famous and collectible psychedelic 60's bands. Hailing from Vancouver their sound is reminiscent of the San Francisco groups of the time. Very highly regarded.
This was my old copy. It plays nicely and sounds great, has a click from time to time. On the song “Intermission Poetry” where you have just poetry reading there are a lot of clicks but in the next song when the music gets louder it’s okay again. It’s not a mint copy but Ex as is the cover.
