Description
This is Riverside Records RLP 433, Cannonball Adderley Know What I Mean?, an blue label, deep groove original mono issue featuring Bill Evans, Percy Heath and Connie Kay. The record is in near mint minus condition, showing no signs of use. The minus is because, at the beginning of the 1st track, during the quiet piano introduction, there is a small bit of crackle, and at a few random points during the record, there are individual pops (caused perhaps by pressing defects). However, the sound is luminous and crisp and for the most part, quiet throughout. The labels are perfect. The original cover is wrapped in the original shrink wrap and is near mint (+). This is a beautiful collector's grade copy of this wonderful piece offered without a reserve price. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders. International customers, please wait for an invoice, or contact me about combined shipping rates as Ebay does not provide accurate numbers. Thanks for looking.
