Description
Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else Vinyl LP for sale.
This is a classic Blue Note release and is some of Cannonball's finest work, including now legendary musicians, Miles Davis and Art Blakey. Obviously very influenced by Miles, anyone who enjoys Mile's Kind of Blue and similar "cool" or post bop era albums will enjoy this very relaxing listen. This copy is a French 1984 reissue on Direct Metal Mastered vinyl and is in excellent condition.
Label/Catalogue #: Blue Note/BST-81595
Sleeve: EX
As can be seen from the pictures, the sleeve only has very minor ageing to the front and rear covers. Very minimal edge wear. The sleeve is made from heavy card stock and has nice straight, square spine and corners. No ring wear, which is rare for a black front cover. The original inner sleeve "The Blue Note Story" has some interesting history on the label and is in similarly excellent condition, just a couple of minor creases, no tears, splits or stains.
Record: EX
The record is in similarly excellent condition. The only minor flaw is a very small warp which does not affect playback. Otherwise, this record could almost be considered new, with next to no spindle wear, a lovely surface shine and only a handful of hairline marks which are only visible under white light - a lovely copy. The sound of the record is excellent, very clear, very precise - just how this music should be.
The record will be very carefully packed so it arrives with you in the same condition it leaves me.
Paypal or cash on collection.
