Description
Cannonball Adderley feat Miles Davis - Something Else LP
This is an original early 60s US Blue Note stereo pressing. Side 1 has "New York USA" labels and a deep groove. Side 2 has "47 West 63rd" labels and no deep groove. Runouts have the Plastylite "ear" and an "RVG STEREO" stamp.
Sleeve has light wear, a couple of dings on the spine and some faded staining on the rear. There's a name written on the rear and what looks like an original price sticker with a 11/61 date. The front of the sleeve has a small (approx 1cm x 1.5cm) patch of damage in the bottom-left corner as pictured. It doesn't go all the way through the sleeve and has been coloured in black so it's not as noticeable.
The record has some non-feelable lines & light scuffs on both sides. There is light crackle in places - most-prominently between tracks - but it doesn't overpower the music. I've uploaded a video with sound clips to illustrate it at various different points on both sides.
I've tried to detail every defect above. While not perfect, it's a respectable enough example and I would have happily kept it had I not lucked into a cleaner copy. I'd consider this one a solid VG.
