The Modal & the Hard Bop converging head-on in one amazing barn burner of a session making this record a full-on Jazz classic in MONO! The Original Press (but not, I have been informed, a 1st pressing, but a very early one), RVG pressed in dead wax & in great shape! A rare find these days & the line-up is a halls fame of Jazz luminaries: Miles - trpt, Hank Jones - pn, Art Blakey - drms, Sam Jones - bs & cannonball with his sweet alto.
