Description
Relisted due to non-paying bidder (see note below).
Capitol Records P8477 mono two disc boxed set. Michael Rabin plays the 24 Caprices for solo violin of Paganini. Original side log labels. Extraordinarily rare and pricey in stereo, even the mono is hard to find. Great sound, and the performances are legendary.
Discs are VG++. A number of very light hairlines visible only upon very close inspection under a bright light. Plays at that good or better, with quiet surfaces and the occasional light tic. Box VG++, hinge intact, corners good, just some light wear.
A nice, enjoyable copy of this rare set.
