Description
An original stereo reissue of 'Safe as Milk' and renamed 'Dropout Boogie' from 1970 on Buddah Records. Matrix A3/B2. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original over printed in England with pinched spine. Also included is the original inner sleeve date coded to Autumn 1970 [11/70]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of light crackle creeping in toward the end of the final track - and very little else worthy of note.
Cover (Ex+) Not bad at all for a white cover at 48 years of age - it's still white! Lovely shiny front and back without creasing or laminate lift. The only vague defect is on the rear in the extreme top-left just a touch of ageing - but you have to look close! Edge wear is, thankfullly, very light and even the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. An impressive example.
