Description
Lovely copy of Captain Beefheart's extraordinary debut album, originally released in 1967. This is the 1969 Mono reissue on Pye/Marble Arch MAL 1117, missing two tracks from the original 12 (The missing tracks are 'I'm Glad' and 'Grown So Ugly'). Matrices are A-1/B-1.
Single Sleeve Ex- Front laminated with flipbacks. Light ringwear and some marking on the reverse.
Labels Ex Very clean with light spindlewear.
Inner Ex Polylined bag (not the original).
Record Visually Ex/Ex+, great shine to the vinyl. No marks seen in normal light. One very faint hairline on Side 2 seen under a strong light.The audio is excellent throughout, detailed and powerful. Some very light crackle only.
