Here's a super rare original pressing of the legendary Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band. This was pressed by Straight Records in the US (STS 1053). Produced by Frank Zappa and one of the first releases on his Straight record label. This features the original pink Straight labels. This includes the super rare insert with lyrics, drawings and a photo of a very young Don Van Vliet.
Exceptionally difficult to find.
Condition - The gatefold jacket shows light signs of wear particularly at the top and at the corners. The jacket grades at VG+. The records are shiny with generally light signs of use including some very light spindle marks on the labels and some very light marks on the record that do not impact play. The record needs to be cleaned for dust. The records grade between VG++ to NM--. The insert is in excellent condition. Original Straight inner sleeves included in very good condition.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records. The highest grade I give to unsealed records is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
