Description

An original 1970 1st press of DECALS on UK Straight Records. Matrix A1/B1. Very nice heavy-set vinyl..no wibble wobble here. The vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood cover. We also have the original generic company inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) A lovely looking copy which has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Nothing to take issue with here - very clean signalled. Bags of energy and no background to interfere - just a banger through and through. I Love You Big Dummy! All I could detect was one isolated tick in 'Forrest'. And a couple more ticks in 'Red Rose'. Bangin' - period.
Cover (Vg) A real pain in the derriere to find in top condition - but this example is acceptable and no better. Surfaces look ok with only light handling. The edges will always exhibit wear - I have inked them in sympathy with black sharpie and tidied it up a fair bit. There is wear on the spine. Text is at best 50/50 legible. Overall the cover retrains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg) Aged. A couple of splits have been taped up.
