Description
A very desirable record! Overall great condition. The sleeve has some wear but no splits or tears. The most noticeable damage is a slightly bent corner and what appears to be a cup stain. The record itself has been listened to throughout on a good quality technics turntable through a separate pioneer amp. No skips or jumps but there is a fair amount of background noise. Not enough to detract from the overall sound. There is a hairline scratch on side 1, this does not cause a jump and is honestly not terribly notable upon playback. I did have the record professionally cleaned a few weeks back. The “patchy” appearance of the vinyl is due to this being originally released with a plastic inner sleeve. Over time these react with the vinyl giving it a groggy look. It does not affect playback. The gentleman who cleaned it said every copy he has seen has the same problem. It now has a generic paper inner sleeve. Labels do have some slight marks. Overall this is an excellent, playable addition of a rare record to a collection. I would not grade it at being audiophile quality, so if you want a perfect mint copy, this isn’t for you!
