Up for bid is this awesome copy of the debut album from Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band titled “Safe as Milk” (BDS 5063 Stereo), released in 1967 on Buddah Records. This rock and roll classic album is in the words of Rolling Stone Magazine noted on the cover, “one of the forgotten classics of rock and roll history.” Captain Beefheart (Don Van Vliet) later befriended Frank Zappa who produced some of their later albums. This vinyl LP 33 rpm record is in MINT condition with no marks or scratches. The cover sleeve is very nice but does show just a bit of ring wear, but no splits rips, or marks. The original record liner is included and is in great condition. You won’t be disappointed with this album!
