Nice clean copy of this fantastic double album from Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band.
Originally released on the Straight label in 1969, it has since been re-pressed and re-issued so many times, with vinyl pressings continuing as recently as 2009.
I believe this copy to be one of the UK Reprise re-issues from 1985, given the clues from the label design.

Vinyl: (Both Discs) VG+/Ex Lovely clean copies. Disc one has a few light superficial surface marks, but nothing that affects play. Disc two is pretty much un-marked. Both sound fantastic. Standard Reprise tan-coloured labels with the steamboat logo and the lower-case letter "r" in the orange box with two dots. The labels are "lipped" at 2 & 3cm from spindle hole and there are no Saul Bass "W" logos on the rim-text. It states "made" and not "manufactured" in the UK. The labels are nice and clean with no scuffs, stains or blemishes and show only very light evidence of spindle-wear.
Sleeve: Ex - Super condition semi-gloss finished stiff-card gatefold sleeve. Fish-head design front cover on red background, band garden photo on rear cover and coloured "negative" band photos on the inner gatefold. Left inner contains album credits & right inner contains track lists and timings. Sleeve is print-finished by Gothic and structurally, everything is entirely intact. No splits, tears or creases - edges still nice and crisp and spine solid. All seams securely stuck down.
An all round great copy of a classic Beefheart double. Although it's one of the more recent re-issues, it remains a genuine rarity and collectors item.
