Up for sale today is your chance to own not one but two copies of this classic double LP Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band. Original release on UK Straight label STS 1053. This was my copy from my school days and I regret not looking after it now, seeing as it is a 1st press with A1, B1, C1, D1. Both the vinyls and cover are in what can only be described as fair condition with scratches and labels ruined with scribbles which I took it upon myself to get rid of with thick black pen - sorry! To make up for it I have included in this bundle a near mint condition quality Record Store Day 2019 Reissue on the Bizarre label, TMR-546 issued by Zappa family Trust and now deleted I think. This double LP faithfully replicates the U.S. original complete with insert lyric booklet on thick card. Vinyls are heavy 180g and come in black lined protectors. So you can play the re-issue which sounds terrific and hold in your hands an original and decide whether its worth shelling out serious money on upgrading at some point. You may not like this album to begin with but it will grow on you - give it a chance. The follow up LP Lick My Decals off Baby recorded straight afterwards is also a blast.
The records and outer sleeves will be packaged separately and securely in a proper LP (recycled) mailer with stiff card protection. I will post by 2nd class signed for in UK for £5.00. £15 to EU countries and £20 to rest of world.
