Captain Beefheart - Trout Mask Replica
US press of double LP reissue on Straight STS 1053 / Reprise 2MS 2027
Vinyl Reprise 2MS 2027 is VG+ No jumps or skips. Surface marks. A click here and there. Great atmospheric sound from this Beefheart masterpiece. I played this through today for the first time in about 40 years, in order to grade. I have Rega/Naim/Ortofon kit - and it sounded great,
Label is orange Reprise 2MS 2027. Made in USA.
I believe this to be the 1974 reissue. There are so many versions of this double LP.
Sleeve VG. This unlaminated Straight Records STS1053 stereo gatefold sleeve has some ringwear. It has 10m splits to top. And 1 cm splits to bottom. Corners a little scuffed. No writing or stains.
Inserts: Original Warner/Reprise. With seam splits. 
Runouts - I think these are correct - it was very difficult to read the small etched bits and there are a huge number of variations:
Side 1: 2 MS 2027 31041-2 Side 2: 2 MS-2027 31042  H BH? encircled Side 3: 2 MS-2027 31043  H BH? encircled Side 4: 31044 2MS 2027  2 STS 1053-4 (crossed out)
Will be sent in an LP mailer with stiffener and in extra protective plastic outer sleeves.
