Captain Beyond - Captain Beyond (Capricorn CP0105), 1972.
Debut LP from these guys who had roots in Iron Butterfly (Lee Dorman, bass & Larry Reinhardt, guitar), Deep Purple (Rod Evans, singer) and Johnny Winter's band (Bobby Caldwell, drums). Really nice heavy but melodic rock and roll.
Cover is a strong VG+ (name "Ace" written unobtrusively on the back cover); record is near mint. EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE VISUAL GRADING.
