Description
March of the long hairs - I'll be listing small batches every so often, consisting of metal, indie, rock, prog, psyche, blues, folk & avant garde related LP's... Mark me as a favourite!
Caravan Cunning Stunts LP. This is a very RARE DEMO/TEST pressing of the UK 1975 Decca pressing (SKL 5210). While the sleeve has some faults (see below) the vinyl is in top condition and a very rare item indeed. The cat no should also be noted - Sleeve SKL-R 5210, Vinyl SKL 5210 (see pics).
Vinyl Description:
Vinyl is in top condition. Both sides have a few VERY MINOR hairline marks that have to be seen under VERY strong light. Vinyl has NO other marks scratches etc. The labels as you can see from the pic are standard DECCA DEMO labels with the album cat no stamped on it (SKL 5210). They state that this is a 'factory sample' not necessarily a representative of the finished record. The labels have some spindle wear - more noticable on Side 2 under strong light. NO other marks or writing. Very clean copy and very rare.
Sleeve Description:
While the sleeve is still very strong and sturdy it has two minor flaws. First, the top right corner has a split approx 1cm (see pic 5).Second, there is some sleeve damage on the top left corner where a sticker has unfortunately been unsucessfully removed (see pic 4). There is also sticker residue on both top corners of the sleeve which can easily be removed. Has some minor edge and corner wear from storage. Ringwear is slightly beginning to show along the top front of the sleeve. Spine print is still intact and writing is completely legible, no cracking or splitting. No other splits, rips or writing.
While some of the above mentioned detracts from the overall presentation, this is after all, a very rare Demo version of a classic Caravan album. Therefore A real piece for any avid Caravan fan/collector or 70's prog enthusiast.

All records will be sent in a sturdy cardboard mailer with stiffener. The vinyl will be seperate from its sleeve to avoid damage in transit and both housed together in a plastic sleeve. Larger or multiple records will be sent in more sturdier/appropriate packaging.
All vinyl to any destinations will be sent recorded/signed for ONLY. That way myself and importantly you, the buyer are covered for any loss or damage.
