I’M SELLING A BIG PART OF MY 30 YEARS COLLECTION OF 60’s AND 70’s PROG,PSYCH AND FOLK LPs..BOUGHT MOST OF THEM VERY NEAR NEW (MANY OF THEM NEW),ALL HAVE BEEN PROPERLY STORED AND KEPT IN PLASTIC SLEEVES IN A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT AWAY FROM SUNSHINE ALL THESE YEARS-NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER BEEN TO PARTIES OR LENT TO ANYONE ( I NEVER TRUSTED ANYONE WITH MY RECORDS !!) ,MOST OF THEM HAD ONLY A HANDFUL OF PLAYS SINCE I ALWAYS MADE TAPE AND CD COPIES OF MY LPs..I’VE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY PICKY AND FUSSY ABOUT CONDITIONS,SO YOU WON’T FIND ANY ABUSED LP’s HERE WITH NASTY SCRATCHES..

VERY rare original first UK  pressing with „Made under licence from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.,owners of the trade mark ’Verve’ ” text on the labels, VERY and nice  collectable condition..

cover:  original front-laminated  single-sleeve ,flip-back cover printed by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd., .. very nice and respectably clean  EX+ condition… nice and shiny lamintation with  light creases  ...back is also nice and clean with light creases…..all four corners are nice and square with signs of very light wear..."664" is written on the inside of the cover where the record slides in...NO rips,NO splits,NO writings  or any other damages....nice and square spine with  the „Caravan” text perfectly visible,no  signs of overwhelming  or heavy use at all…opening edges are straight and sharp,NO signs of heavy use  at all…..

record,visual:   side A is superb clean  EX+  with few  light and totally inaudible surface lines caused by the inner sleeve..side B is pretty much the same with one long but TOTALLY INAUDIBLE surface line/smudge, NO scratches or ANY OTHER kind of  deep marks on either side at all,NO fingerprints....based on the COMPLETE ABSENCE  of spindle hole marks this copy hasn't been played much at all,it still retains it’s beautiful original black sheen and it looks BEAUTIFUL  !!!

record,audio:    NO SKIPS,NO STICKING,NO DISTORTION, NO  LOUD  POPS, CLICKS OR ANY OTHER INTRUSIVE BACKGROUND NOISE OF ANY KIND AT ALL,SOME VERY, VERY LIGHT STATIC BACKGROUND NOISE IN THE RUN-INS, PLACES BETWEEN TRACKS AND QUIET PARTS BUT NOTHING DISTURBING AT ALL,A REALLY  GREAT COPY - A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING JOB MIGHT GET RID OF SOME OF THESE MINOR SURFACE NOISES..

labels:  very nice and clean  without any spindle hole marks…SVLP 6011 A-1  and SVLP 6011 B-1  matrix numbers,very first pressing…there seem to be some small staines on both sides but these are visible ONLY when held in an  angle towards light.. no tears,stamps or any other damages...

Gradings: I ALWAYS TRY TO DO MY BEST IN GIVING ACCURATE,HONEST AND VERY STRICT GRADINGS BY USING THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

I ALSO USE  PLUS (+) AND MINUS (-) IF THE CONDITION FALLS BETWEEN TWO GRADES.

VINYL WILL FIRST BE INSPECTED VISUALLY VERY CAREFULLY UNDER STRONG LIGHT, THEN WILL BE TESTPLAYED SKIPPING THROUGH EACH TRACK ON BOTH SIDES ( INCLUDING RUN-IN,RUN-OUT GROOVES AND THE SPACES BETWEEN TRACKS ) TO CHECK THE OVERALL PLAYBACK  QUALITY.

ALL TESTPLAYING IS DONE ON TOP QUALITY EQUIPMENT- LINN SONDEK WITH ITTOK TONEARM AND BENZ MICRO GLIDER S MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE,McINTOSH TUBE AMPMS AND AMT ESS HEIL SPEAKERS.

IN THE UNLIKELY CASE THAT YOU SHOULD BE UNHAPPY WITH MY GRADING/DESCRIPTION PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK-I’M SURE THAT WE CAN CLEAR OUT EVERY PROBLEM IN A KIND WAY!
