This is a VERY RARE Original debut 1957 Rockabilly LP by Carl Perkins "Dance Album Of Carl Perkins", Sun LP 1225. This is simply one of the greatest Rock N Roll records ever recorded by Sun, including the original version of the huge crossover hit, Blue Suede Shoes, plus many more raucous rockabilly classics.

The influence of the artist and songs on this album cannot be overstated. Songs include: Blue Suede Shoes, Movie Magg, Sure To Fall, Gone Gone Gone, Honey Don't, Only You, Tennessee, Wrong Yo Yo, Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby, Matchbox, Your True Love, Boppin' The Blues.

Comes in the definitive front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The flimsy sleeve shows light wear on front and back. The LP cover has seam splits on the whole top and spine, and repaired with fabric tape, otherwise it's Very Good+ with light wear on the front. The sleeve still holds up well with all text clearly legible and vibrant colours.

The deep groove Label is clean and bright with very few and light spindle marks and is Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is clean & sounds fantastic. Looks and plays VG / VG+. Plays with only light background noise. Overall a nice play. This is a nice example of a classic record that reaches a VG /VG+ grade.
