Carlton And His Shoes – ‘Give Me Little More’ / ‘Version’ – Quality (Jamaica)

Absolutely wonderful side credited to Carlton and his Shoes, but, in fact, featuring a double tracked Carlton Manning. From the rare Quality album This Heart Of Mine, ‘Give Me Little More’ features the Barrett brothers on drum & bass, as well as Pablo Black and Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith on some serious organ and guitar, respectively. Fabulous version, too; unavailable elsewhere! Carlton Manning, of course, needs no introduction, his ‘Love Me Forever’ is a Jamaican evergreen.

Condition: Excellent. Wonderful copy. Very slight discolouration of the vinyl though this doesn’t affect playing at all. Slightly torn labels on both sides. To the best of my knowledge, all original copies lack title information (please see scans).
