Description
A genuine 1st press of T & F on the UK Pink-rim Island label. Matrix 3/3 - the very 1st cut. Stampers 1AH/3OA. Stamped 'sterling'. Etching 'LH'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy textured cover printed by E J Day. These textured sleeves are difficult to find and are the genuine very 1st issue. Also included is the original blue Island inner sleeve with the correct 'Basing Street' address. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely stunning and has seen only the very lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. An absolute top-performer...best copy for audio I can remember. Teaser is a very acoustic driven album so don't risk getting a copy with even a touch of background - otherwise it will leave you disappointed. This copy is as clean as you could possible hope to achieve. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could detect were a couple of light crackles in couple of isolated moments - that's it. FINAL UPGRADE no sweat.
Cover (Ex-) These textured covers are difficult to find and sourcing a well preserved example is even harder. Whilst not perfect this copy is well above the average level that surfaces. The front is unmarked and exhibits a bit of light ageing toward the extremities, and a crease in the bottom left corner. The rear is marginally better with just a minor ding just at the base of the spine. The interior is aok with just lightest handling. Edge wear is very light for this title. There's very little at all on the spine - which is unusual. All text is perfectly legible on the spine. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Bit of ageing over on the right side.
