Description

A genuine 1st press of T & F on the UK Pink-rim Island label. Matrix 3/3 - the very 1st cut. Stampers 1TO/3GRM. Stamped 'sterling'. Etching 'LH'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original heavy textured cover printed by E J Day. These textured sleeves are difficult to find and are the genuine very 1st issue. Also included is the original blue Island inner sleeve with the correct 'Basing Street' address. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) Absolutely stunning and has seen only the very lightest use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Teaser is a very acoustic driven album so don't risk getting a copy with even a touch of background - otherwise it will leave you disappointed. This copy is as clean as you could hope for. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we could detect were a couple of light crackles in couple of isolated moments.
Cover (Vg+) Relatively clean front, but do expect a couple of small marks and some light handling wear in places - as is common on these early copies. The rear is marginally better with no issues. The interior is aok with just lightest handling. There's a bit of edge wear in places and at the bottom edge of the opening there's a 1c.m. split - but that's all I can spot. The spine isn't too bad - you can still more or less make out the text. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) The glue has aged in places. One side split - one inch.
