Catch A Fire Original “Jamaican Mix” 2021 Japanese Pressing Brand-New Superb.
The Wailers
Here we have a brand-new copy of the 2021 repressing -for Japan only- of the original “ Jamaican Mix” of the 1973 title as released in Europe. This however is a copy - once more on vinyl - of the original unadorned tracks before they were overdubbed.
This also comes with a slightly different tracklisting to that famous 70s release which kickstarted the career of Bob Marley and the Wailers on the global stage.
Suffice it to say that the music is superb and the sound quality is outstanding ; beautifully cut and pressed for the Japanese market with the original ‘ zippo’ lighter sleeve and with an extra embedded lyric sheet. As I have a playing copy I can attest that the pressing is flawless and without so much as a tick to spoil this wonderful reggae music.
This copy is new and sealed.
I hope to add some more photos of my opened copy by tomorrow evening (28/01). What I can tell you is that they’ve done an excellent job of reproducing the British Island “Pink Rim” labels.
Simply sublime item for lovers of Marley and his music ; I also own the deluxe CD featuring this mix of some 20 years ago and this new pressing on vinyl leaves it for dust.
