Caustic Window (aka Aphex Twin), Joyrex J9 E.P., 12in vinyl
Oooh it's a horrible noise. Aphex at his most experimental and, er, "caustic". The EP consists of an ultra bouncy acid nosebleed rave, a super moody minimalist dub track, a pounding industrial handbanger, and a scratchy atonal ambient number to close, that bears little resemblance to the track of the same name on Aphex's first album. I can't imagine anyone dancing to this in a club or raving to it in a field (maybe if you were absolutely out of it), or tapping their toe along to it at home. Demanding the question, what is this record for? Though now I've done my best to describe the tracks I can barely bring myself to part with it.

There's more trainspottery stuff about this on discogs - the original release was super limited (900 copies) and came with packs of popping candy. This is not that edition. This is a repress - incorrectly catalogued as 009 on the record label, when in fact it's 009ii as stated in the runout groove. More: "009i is the picture disc with 2 songs ... 009 is the incomplete reprint of Joyrex J4, J5, J9i and J9ii that came out 1998." (Discogs).
Vinyl in excellent condition, no jumps or scratches.
Original sleeve in excellent condition, plain black with die cut hole, standard paper inner sleeve.
