Description
Here's a relatively rare vinyl edition of this award-winning performance and recording, released on the acclaimed Harmonia Mundi label in 1985. "Gramophone" magazine summarised the recording thus: "This is an undoubted success: a hitherto unheard opera of striking quality, playing and singing that are extremely musicianly and musical (by no means always synonymous!); and impeccably clean recording". This beautifully presented box set comprises four LP's plus (so the sleeve tells me --the box is unopened!) the libretto. Please see photographs for more details. This is brand new old-stock, never opened and still sealed in the manufacturer's original shrink wrapping.
Packed weight will be about 1.4kg. Buyers from overseas welcome but please be aware of shipping costs. Postage costs quoted are for a tracked, signed-for service (signature required on delivery) and include full insurance. Economy international postage will cost less (around £13.50) but any insurance claims for lost or damaged items must then be handled entirely by the buyer - I strongly advise against this route but please contact me if you insist on using it and I will supply a modified invoice.
