Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Cecil Payne “Quartet” on the “ear” labels of Signal 1203.  Side A appears to be in new condition, unused, with a beautiful luster; Side B has a scuff over the first 2 ½” that is inaudible except for four light tics at the beginning of track 1; otherwise, the surface has the same beautiful luster as Side A.  The laminated frame cover is in excellent condition; normal age toning on the back and “1.49” in marker at the top right corner.  Original glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Duke Jordan, Tommy Potter, and Art Taylor.  $350.00
