Vinyl - EX to NM Jacket - EX, still in shrink

Originally released in 1956, "Canta Celia Cruz (Celia Cruz Sings" is a landmark album she made while backed by the legendary Cuban group La Sonora Matancera.

This reissue on Seeco was pressed in the US, and although it is undated, a previous owner included a newspaper clipping references a New Jersey / NYC TV program of Latin music that was active in the 1980's, so that is my best guess for when it was released.  The audio is in mono, like the original release, and this is always preferable to the "electronically re-channeled  / processed for stereo" reissues that were very common in the 70s and 80s.

  • Equipment used to playgrade: Technics 1200 Mk2 Turntable fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge and stylus
