I am parting with some real gems in my collection this week. I have to pay some bills and unfortunately this is how I have to make that happen. Parting with these is not an easy decision.. I've spent 35 years amassing this killer collection and I'm going to start selling off some to you, the lucky folks who can now proudly own them. Celtic Frost Tragic Serenades EP, OG mega rare Canadian Banzai press! This is NOT a shitty modern reissue - NOT a bootleg this is the REAL DEAL! One of the first wave of European thrash/death metal acts, Celtic Frost was a hugely influential group from Switzerland that started as Hellhammer in the early 80s. Their albums have soared in popularity in the last 10 years or so, mainly due to mainman Tom G. Warrior's other projects and resurrecting the band for a couple more albums in the 2000's. Their original pressings are amongst the most coveted for all metal heads, and also some of the hardest to find, especially in top grade condition. The value and collectability is further enhanced in this listing by this being on the short printed Canadian Banzai label, which were licensed from the popular metal record labels of the day and distributed in Canada in comparatively small numbers. They are generally highly coveted and can be very difficult to find in top conditions. I've been selling on eBay for 22 years now, and this is only the 3rd time I've ever seen this listed...

The LP is a very strong VG+ condition, with a few sleeve marks and light hairlines. It retains all of its original luster. The labels are clean and with no defects. The cover is strong VG+ condition with very light edge wear, a few tiny creases along edges and a scuff to the front. Still highly glossy after all these years. No wrinkles, writing, tears, stains or other defects. As always, see the high resolution pics for all the details. This is my spare copy and that's the ONLY reason I'm selling it! This is a great opportunity for the Celtic Frost collector or Banzai completist to add a high grade example to their collection!  This is an exceptionally nice copy of one of the RAREST Banzai titles ever pressed!.
