Description

Central Heating Heatwave Vinyl Record
Central Heating is the second album by funk-disco band Heatwave, released in 1978 on the GTO label in the UK and on the Epic label in the US. It was produced by Barry Blue.
It was the last Heatwave album to feature bassist Mario Mantese and guitarist Eric Johns, as well as the first to feature new member Roy Carter on guitar. The album was also the final performance of Rod Temperton as an official member of Heatwave, although he would continue to write songs for the band after his departure.

Ok, I am a old-skool GIRL. It's just that the music of this timeframe was soo soothing, grooving, loving, and thought-provoking. -Customer Review

angel come to me
let me be
part of all the love you are
cuz angel we could fly
you and i
fly a rainbow to the sky
(chorus)
so hold me all through the night
stay till the day is bright
and angel don't ever go (don't break the spell)
cuz you're the star of the story
i'll always tell
you are- my star (2x)
angel
i used to say
yesterday
love was only in a dream
but angel
guess i was wrong all along
just took you to make me see
(chorus)
i love so well
you are-my star (2x)

This is a really enjoyable album from beginning to end. I got it because I like Vijay Iyer's jazz cover of Star of a Story, but was pleased to find Groove Line and a lot of other fun blasts from the past on it.
