Description

Chaino - Africana (Spellbinding Primitive Rhythms By Chaino, Percussion Genius of Africa) released on the London label (cat no SAH-D 6078 Stereo). A very rare, unusual and collectable record from Chaino (who was actually a black American from Philadelphia called Leon Johnson!) playing African drum rhythms in his own style. Vinyl remains in excellent condition and plays back perfectly, the sleeve remains in very good condition but does have the letter ''M'' written on the front cover in black marker pen and with some water staining to the rear. The record retains its original inner, which remains in excellent condition barring a single pierced hole in the polylined inner sleeve. The inner sleeve also has the words ''Chaino's Africana neatly written in ink. Don't let this one get away!
