Description

Up for sale is my copy of Charles Mingus' Ah Um. This is a stereo, first pressing copy from 1959. The vinyl on this one has seen some mileage but none of the (many) minor imperfections are super deep. I visually grade my records as I do not have a turntable at the moment. I do my best to be conservative. I would expect this album to play through just fine without skipping but with some background noise.
The labels look good although there are some marks from placing this one on the turntable. The sleeve is also showing its age a bit with splitting in the top and bottom (see last photos).
This is an absolute classic of an album by one of the greats. One to have in any good collection.
I will ship the item in bubble wrap inside of a cardboard LP mailer. I am not a professional seller, just a long time collector who has decided to sell them off. Check out my other listings for lots more jazz, blues, classic rock, indie and more all on vinyl.
