Super Rare Charles Mingus Ah Um Limited Edition ORG Records #1028 of 2500 ever pressed. Mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analogue master tapes and pressed at RTI! Numbered Deluxe Laminated Gatefold Jackets. 2LP at 45RPM I opened and put records in Mofi Sleeves and the records are dead mint and never played. The plastic is opened but this record is just like new when I received it and has just been sitting on the shelf. Still have original plastic sleeve it came in. Cover NM (Just because it's opened) Vinyl Mint never played. Shipping is 3.99 media mail or if you want priority mail it will be 8.99. These are getting very hard to find and the last one that sold on Discogs for this condition sold for 277.78. So someone is getting a steal in this no reserve auction. 

Mingus Ah Um is a studio album by American jazz musician Charles Mingus, originally released in 1959 by Columbia Records. It was his first album recorded for Columbia.

The cover features a painting by S. Neil Fujita, an American graphic designer known for his innovative book cover and record album designs.

“One of the most important figures in 20th century American music, Charles Mingus was a virtuoso bass player, accomplished pianist, bandleader and composer. His early professional experience, in the '40's, found him touring with bands like Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory and Lionel Hampton. Eventually he settled in New York where he played and recorded with the leading musicians of the 1950's — Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Art Tatum and Duke Ellington himself. One of the few bassists to do so, Mingus quickly developed as a leader of musicians. From the 1960's until his death in 1979 at age 56, Mingus remained in the forefront of American music. When asked to comment on his accomplishments, Mingus said that his abilities as a bassist were the result of hard work but that his talent for composition came from God.
