Description
This is Impulse AS-35, Charles Mingus, Black Saint And The Sinner Lady, a orange and black label, original stereo issue with RVG written in the dead wax. The record looks VG but plays VG+, with some marks but plays quietly with no skips or distortion. The instruments sound brilliant and exciting. However, there is an odd heat warp that shows up when the record is played. It does not effect the sound. The glossy gate-fold cover has some edge wear, but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is an excellent "play" copy of a rare original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders.
