Description

Charles Mingus and band on one of his best records. Its exciting and very very fresh, and for some reason a real crowd pleaser. Pepole who aren't "into" jazz -what? always dig this one. It reminds me of the score to taxi driver in places and has liner notes by Mingus' psychiatrist!
Mingus always had strong themes and concepts he worked through and for me this is his most fully realised piece.

Record and cover in excellent stunning condition.
