Charles Mingus, The Complete Candid Recordings of Charles Mingus. This 4-LP box set (MR4111) released by Mosaic showcases Charles Mingus at his absolute best.
The set is in very good condition (VG). Included here is a booklet detailing the historical significance of Mingus and his career, including reprints of some of the original liner notes.
The box shows only slight front and back cover wear, but the wear is negligible (see included photographs).
The vinyl is glossy and beautiful, thanks to the fact that these albums have been played very few times. Mosaic set the limit at 7500 copies for this collection. This set is #2594.
If you can even find a copy of these recordings, it is unlikely that they will be in such fine condition as the present copy.
I'm sure you want to ask why I'm selling it. Well, we had a baby this spring (our first), woohoo! I've collected about 12,000 records over the years and now it's time to slim down some of the collection to make some space. Shipping is $5.00 for shipments INSIDE the Continental USA (Media Mail). International shipments are $17.00.
