Description

Charles Mingus               Live At The Jazz Workshop       mono    Fantasy 6017 red label deep groove

 The record looks and plays VG+ to VG++. Plays VG+ with light surface noise on the quiet parts.  On Side 1 there is a long, superficial scuff that is not into the grooves and a small, app. 1/2 inch scratch with the grooves that ticks lightly 3 times. Side 2 has superficial scuffing. Grooves do not show graying or spreading.       

 The cover is VG.  

    The front cover has some heavy wear, ring wear and a rip along the pocket. The back cover has moderate wear and ring wear.  The bottom seam is split app. 3 inches at the pocket and is untaped. The top seam is split and not taped app. 1/2 inch at the pocket.   Spine is intact and readable but faded a bit.

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
