Description
Mega Rare LP of Charlie Mingus - Cecil Taylor (Ozone 19 - mono & stereo) Vintage private press edition of previously unheard radio broadcast - NOT a current re-issue! Reportedly recorded in New York in the early 1960s this privately recorded, privately pressed LP features the bassist Mingus along with Jaki Byard, Charles McPherson and others and the other side of the LP features pianist Taylor along with Jimmy Lyons, henry Grimes and Adrew Cyrille in a lost classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in Mint/Near Mint condition with basically no marks to report and with likely all of the original shine - really really nice! The cover is in solid VG+ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear and an old rubber stamp on the back liner. NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers. A strong copy of a lost classic.
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together to any country.
Mailing costs have gone up. Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to payment fees on mailing payments. I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.
International mailing costs: International overseas mailing to Europe for one LP would be $31.00. One LP to Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia would be $36.00. One LP to Canada would be $27.00. For other countries please write for quote. All rates reflect increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials.
US mailing costs: Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address. This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, payment fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
All items are guaranteed upon return in condition sent, but mailing costs are NOT refundable. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
