Description

Charlie (Charles) Mingus -- East Coasting; BETHLEHEM BCP 6019, original US pressing, mono, 1957.  Vinyl is m- -- nice 'n' shiny (however it does play with light ((and I mean light)) ticks and pops now and again very typical of independent label releases of the time) with no spindle trails although there is some light label wear on side 2; jacket is vg++ -- just shy of m- -- with very light overall wear and very slightly rounded corners.  You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer copy.  Features Mingus with Jimmy Knepper, Shafi Hadi, Clarence Shaw, Dannie Richmond and Bill Evans.

I will be listing quite a few jazz LPs on labels such as ECM, Hat Hut, Hat Art, Blue Note, Impulse, Mosaic and others.

Domestic US shipping: one of two options:

1) Media Mail -- $4.00 each single LP; add $1 each additional. Insurance is an additional $1.70. Combined winning amounts over $50 must be sent Priority Mail insured @ $10.00 flat rate up to 15 LPs maximum. Double LPs count as two.

2) Priority Mail -- $7.00 each single LP; add $1 each additional. Insurance is an additional $1.70. Combined winning amounts over $50 will be at a flat rate of $10.00 including insurance up to 15 LPs maximum. Double LPs count as two.

I am not responsible for uninsured parcels.

International shipping:

Canada $6.50 First Class mail (uninsured) + $2.00 each additional

Mexico $10.00 First Class mail (uninsured) + $3.00 each additional

Rest of the world:

Asia: First Class mail (uninsured) = $15.00 + $2.00 each additional

Europe: First Class mail (uninsured) = $13.00 + $2.00 each additional. Because of problems with Italian post I will not sell into Italy.

Winning totals over $75.00 must be sent Priority Mail insured at $25.00 (all except Canada and Mexico at $20.00) for 1st LP + $3.00 each additional.

I am not responsible for uninsured parcels.

Grading: My highest grade is m- (mint minus). From there I approximate the Goldmine rating system always listing flaws to help provide a mental picture. I use vg++ as a grade in between m- and vg+. My grading is guaranteed.

Payment:  Paypal payment is expected within 7 days of auction end.
