Clarence Shaw (tp) Jimmy Knepper (tb) Curtis Porter (as, ts) Bill Hardman (tp) Bob Hammer (p) Horace Parlan (p, left hand) Charles Mingus (b) Dannie Richmond (d) Melvin Stewart (nar) NYC, October, 1957 Original Bethlehem records pressing from 1957, blood red label with laurel logo, a deep groove pressing, #BCP 6026.
The vinyl looks like it was never played, it sounds beautiful, super clear and loud, Near Mint.
The cover has only a hint of ringwear front and back, but the edges are fairly chipped and worn all around with a split in the middle bottom edge, and thereis a large piece of packing tape along the opeing side, VG+ (see pictures).
