Description

This is Mercury Records SR-60627, Charlie Mingus Pre- Bird, a black label original deep groove stereo issue. The record is in near mint condition, showing very little signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The Mercury Stereo sound is bright and luminous throughout. The labels are excellent showing only light spindle marks. The original glossy cover with original inner sleeve, has a small bump on the upper right and a stamp on the back, but is otherwise excellent and intact.  This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this wonderful piece offered without a reserve price.  The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders. International customers, please wait for an invoice, or contact me about combined shipping rates as Ebay does not provide accurate numbers. Thanks for looking.
