Description
Charlie Parker 10-LP Complete Dean Benedetti Recordings (Mosaic Vinyl Box Set). Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. The legendary Dean Benedetti recordings in the original Mosaic box and packing. VINYL CONDITION: 10 LPS, overall condition is VG+ to Excellent. No skips (obviously) in entire set and VERY FEW MARKS AT ALL. There is really only one significant scuff mark, which is about 1" on the 8th LP. Does not affect sound. 2 of the other LPs have small marks you have to look for to find. I would put the other 7 LPs around Near Mint, but I'll stick the overall set being between VG+ and EX. All 10 original plastic sleeves are there. BOX CONDITION: Cover of box is Fair at best. I've stored this standing up with my other records for the past 20-odd years. The seams at each corner of the cover have opened and the sides have frayed, so it's banged up (see pics). Bottom of box that holds records, on the other hand, is in VG condition (no splits and very few marks). In other words, the cover did its job protecting the vinyl. BOOKLET CONDITION: It's a really lavish boxed set, so the booklet is lengthy and detailed, with Parker expert Phil Schaap weighing in on the material. Book is in good shape. I read it a few times and that's about it. There are creases as if I put something heavy on the booklet a few times and it made marks on the cover. Back cover of booklet is VG. This box is obviously a collector's item and for the Bird fan who needs the complete works. (That was once me, but my obsessions lie elsewhere these days.) While it's not a perfect set, I've taken good care of it over the years, with the focus on the vinyl. You won't be disappointed once you dig in.
