This is Verve Records MGV-8007, Charlie Parker, The Genius Of Charlie Parker #5, Charlie Parker Plays Cole Porter, a deep groove, black, mono, Verve Inc. trumpet label, original  issue, of his last recordings, featuring Billy Bauer and Walter Bishop Jr . The record is in near mint minus condition, showing very little signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The minus is because there is some light background crackle intermittently on the first track on side two, endemic to the pressing. This is very light and does not effect the play. The labels are perfect. The cover is also near mint.  This is a superb collector's grade copy of this original pressing.  The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders.
