Description
Very rare Charlie Parker Dial lp 901 on red vinyl. Issued in 1950, it did not have an album cover and came with this original plain brown sleeve. I purchased this from the original owner, who hand dated the piece when he purchased it - 3/1/52. It also has a stamp date on the front - Aug. 2_, 195_. It is faded and hard to read. Vinyl is in very good plus condition and has some small surface marks which do not affect play. There is also an small edge imperfection on the B side that is original to the piece, and once again does not affect the play. The original brown paper cover is worn and has some tears and age issues, but I've not seen one of these before in the original sleeve. Very rare and a great piece for the jazz or Parker collector!
