Charlie Rouse Quintet            Takin' Care Of Business         stereo         Jazzland 919S     Black label deep groove        

 Charlie Rouse (ts), Blue Mitchell (t), Walter Bishop Jr. (p), Earl May (b), Art Taylor (d) Rec.  1960 

 The record looks and plays VG to VG+ with light surface noise audible during quiet passages but no heavy repetitive ticking. Light scuffs and marks on both sides,  No scratches into the grooves. The grooves show play but are not graying or spread.       

 The cover is VG+.  

   The front has moderate wear with some heavy ring wear at the top and a missing piece of the slick. The back cover has moderate wear, fading, and a sticker.  The corners have spots of wear and denting.  There are three taped areas on the bottom seam app. 1 inch each.  The one in the middle is over a seam split, the other two seem to be protective.  There's also a 1 inch piece of tape on the top seam at the pocket which also seems protective.  Spine is readable with spots of heavy wear at the top and bottom

 Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
