Description

This is a vinyl  LP  "Cheap Thrills",  by Big Brother & The Holding Company, on a red Columbia Records label  #PC-9700.   Big Brother and The Holding Company is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1965 as part of the psychedelic music scene.  Janis Joplin was great and their lead singer.  The 1968 album  "Cheap Thrills"  reached number one on the Billboard Charts.  Conflicts within the band, caused by Joplin's high profile, resulted in her leaving soon afterward for a solo career.  The vinyl is in excellent to near-mint condition.  The gatefold cover is in excellent to near-mint condition.  Thank you for looking.
