Beastie Boys: Check Your Head (2009 Remastered LP)
Please note this is brand new and still in the shrink, but be aware I have just carefully slit it open to inspect the vinyl inside so it is no longer fully sealed. I’m finding quality control on vinyl is at an all time low with pressing faults, warps, split inner sleeves and other manufacturer defects so I’d sooner discover this now before I send it to you, rather than deal with the hassle of returns. NEW, but not fully SEALED.
The records appear to have no obvious pressing defects, warps or visible non fill that I can see so rest assured your getting solid pressings. One record appears to have some chemical residues in a couple of places most likely from the pressing plant so I have just cleaned them in my pro record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art Du Son fluid. I always clean new records anyway to eliminate any annoying clicks and pops.
I’ve inspected both records again after cleaning and they’re nice and clean and static free although there are still a couple of marks visible, but nothing that’s going to affect play. Just to be sure I played both through once all the way through and they actually sounds amazing... Absolutely no jumping, skipping or sticking and pretty much no detectable surface noise on my deck (project debut carbon Esprit with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge). The records were also in those generic white paper sleeves so I have replaced with anti static polylined sleeves.
I will post this packaged properly so no damage will come to the item in transit and also send by a signed for service. Do ask me if you have any questions.
