Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Release: The Flamingo's - Just For a Kick / Would I Be Crying

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing with the "guitar neck" pattern. Early single by the group who performed the hit "I Only Have Eyes for You".  Great classic-50's doo-wop sound on both tracks here.  The B-side of which was in the teenage movie Rock Rock Rock.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of tiny superficial scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers. This is a nice copy overall.
