Description

This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Release: Little Walter - Nobody But You / Everybody Needs Somebody

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1957


Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing with the "guitar neck" pattern. Earlier single by Walter. Interestingly one side is credited to Water and "His Jukes", but the other is just Walter himself. A-side is kind of a blues-leaning R&B track, b-side is more of a straight blues and is just awesome. 


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a few very small surface scuffs on Nobody side. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers. Just the slightest bit of scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
