Description

You are bidding on Cheech and Chong’s "Big Bambu" on vinyl from 1972.  This album comes with the famous extra large rolling paper.  I have posted pictures of the album cover, the rolling paper, the inner sleeve and the records, so you can see the quality of the album you re bidding on.  The record is untested and I am not a record grader, that is why I post pictures so you can look at it and see for yourself.  Also, I provide what I call observational notes as a way to describe the album.  Observational Notes:

  • The album cover shows very little wear, the colors are bright.  There is a “smudge” for lack of a better word, on the lower left.  (See the picture of the front cover.)
  • The inner sleeve is the original and, as you can see in the picture, the bottom has a record pressure tear.  You know where the record is put back, but causes a tear in the inner sleeve from the pressure.
  • The rolling paper is in original condition as you can see from the picture.
  • The record is very clean and ready to play.  I took pictures of each side from a couple of different angles so the light would hit it differently to at least give you an idea of how clean it is.
I take great care in shipping records.  I use boxes designed for shipping records.  I take the album out of the inner sleeve and place it in a different one I provide, so the record doesn’t damage the album cover in trip with the postal service.  I wrap the album and records in shipping paper and then put in plastic wrap.  I then put cardboard on each side of the album to provide more stability.  Then it is ready to go.
