I am trying to list as many of my dad's records as I can, as quickly as I can.  For this reason, All pictures and grades and notes are placeholders until I can get to these auctions individually.  Please check back in a day or 2 for all pertinent information and pictures of actual item listed in the description.

About my father's Record (vinyl / LP) auctions:

These Records are from my father's personal collection.  They are all "vintage" recordings, and none of them are modern "re-pressings" or anything like that.  If you are looking for a specific pressing or edition and you can't identify what you need from my pictures, PLEASE ask me any questions you may have before bidding.

My dad absolutely LOVED his records, and they were always carefully handled (touched only at edges and label) and stored (upright / vertically) in their covers on a shelf in a non-smoking, pet-free home.  So don't raise an eyebrow if I grade a vast majority of his records as being EX or better.  Honestly, most of these look nearly unplayed.  My dad never lent records out, so I can say these were only listened to in my home.  Grades given are only my opinion, and because I am not an expert and can only look at them under normal lighting conditions, PLEASE JUDGE FOR YOURSELF VIA THE PICTURES LISTED.  95% of these were bought new, so truly a "single owner" collection.  My dad never owned any kind of Record cleaning machine or anything like that, so I am sure that all records will probably need a cleaning before play.  I have tried to show the condition of each Record and cover via picture, but reflection and flash may reduce the quality and color of the picture.  My father is long gone, so I would think these have not played in probably 30+ years.

On some of the covers, you might see "MONO" or "STEREO" in black.  This was something my dad did with certain records, and in all cases it is in black crayon, NOT sharpie or pen or marker.  In most cases, the crayon comes right off in 20 seconds or so with a drop of cleaner and a microfiber cloth.  I can easily take this off if a bidder wants, but I left it all on for now just to be transparent with the bidders.

My grading takes into account all visual aspects of item.  Cover splits, tape, staining, scratches, loss of original gloss, label visual appeal, and warping all contribute to my grading.

Glossary:

Sleeve - paper sleeve that record is stored in before it goes into the actual record cover.
Graphics on Sleeve - usually an explanation of stereo or Hi-Fidelity or a selection of record companies selections.  Sometimes the record company logo.
Sealed - Record is still factory sealed.  Never opened or used.
Shrink - The factory "shrink-wrap" that a record was originally sealed with.  When I list "shrink" but not "sealed" it means that my dad opened the album only by the edge to remove the record, but the shrink-wrap remains to protect the album cover.

Every piece listed in this auction is a 100% original factory pressing bought from a store.  I do NOT sell bootleg Records .

These were all bought brand new by my father and have been treated with love (yes, LOVE) and respect unless otherwise noted.  

I am not a warehouse, Record Store or a foreign drop-shipper.  I just feel the need to free up some space and I know someone will get a lot of enjoyment out of these.  I can combine shipping with other Records won within 7 days for domestic bidders.  Just let me know BEFORE YOU PAY FOR YOUR AUCTION WIN and I will send you a combined invoice.

How I ship my Records: 
I understand that Records are fragile by nature, and that a good amount of the value lies in the condition of the covers and sleeves.  You will never get a Record "shipped in a paper bag" or bubble envelope or anything like that from me.  Records will be removed from the covers and the sleeve and placed ON TOP of everything else to prevent cover and sleeve spine splitting during shipment.  Cover, sleeve, and record will be placed in a brand new poly record outer sleeve bag.  And then this will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard shipping box made especially for Records.  If there is any spare room in the box, I will insert a cardboard insert to prevent movement.

Domestic Shipping:

This auction will be shipped via the USPS Media Mail, Parcel Post, or Priority Mail (your choice).  I can fit 1 to maybe 4 or 5 records in the same box for shipping.  If you win multiple single record auctions, please let me know before you pay, and I will send you a modified invoice to save you some cash on the shipping.  For larger groups of won Records, I will work with you on shipping.  Just talk to me before you send payment.
If this is a Buy It Now auction and you wish to buy other items of mine, you MUST click on "ADD TO CART" and purchase all at once.  Otherwise, Ebay will not let me combine shipping.
For all record auctions (or multiple auctions) won, I add $1 "handling fee".  This is not for my "handling", but to pay my cost for the special record shipping boxes, poly bags, inserts, labels, tape and such.  I am not making any money by charging this fee.

I pack my items securely, and have never had a complaint.  If this auction (or total auction wins) goes over $250, signature confirmation will be needed upon delivery for tracking reasons per Paypal regulations.

Foreign Shipping:  No foreign shipping for these auctions.  Sorry.

Fine Print:

Thanks for looking at my auction.  I will leave an unpaid auction strike for non-paying auction winners and reserve the right to relist if Ebay "goes down" for any reason that might prevent a higher bid from listing. Due to new Ebay regulations, I can only accept Paypal for this auction. I do combine shipping in MOST domestic cases.  Please let me know if you have any specific questions.
I use bubble mailers for my small items and my single DVD and CD shipments.  I use recycled shipping boxes for all else.  I strongly believe in recycling, so you may have your items shipped in an Amazon box, or a box from my local hardware store, or grocery store, or wherever. All boxes will be clean and structurally intact.
